Elective rotations and continuity clinic experience are also available at Walker’s Point Community Clinic, the largest free clinic in the state. Rural rotations are available throughout the Aurora system.
Spouse/family opportunities: Milwaukee offers affordable living, excellent schools, diverse employment opportunities, and numerous recreational activities, making it a very family-friendly city. Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center has onsite childcare, including a sick child program. Population served: We serve a diverse population of patients, including the Native American Population, and a growing Hispanic community. In addition, SSM Health Dean Medical Group – Baraboo Primary Care and St. Clare Hospital and Health Services patient care staff are heavily relied upon to provide urgent care/emergent services to patients of the neighboring city, Wisconsin Dells, where tourism increases the population tremendously during the summer months.
Location/community: Home to 12,000 people, Baraboo is located 45 minutes from Madison, in the heart of beautiful, recreational, south central Wisconsin. Enjoy a meal at one of the quaint eateries, followed by shopping at one of the unique boutiques on the square. The simple life is abundant in Baraboo, but the amenities of city life in Milwaukee, Chicago and Minneapolis are within reasonable driving distance.
