Based in Sassocorvaro Auditore, Italy, Green Power has established itself at a national and international level in the production and sales of generator sets. In a July 2024 contract Green Power delivered delivered three out of a total of five gensets for a sorting centre in caprazzino Di Sassocorvaro. One of the gensets is a GP1120 1022 kVA model powered by a Perkins 4008 TAG2A engine. The 4008TAG2A is a turbocharged and air-to-air charge cooled, 8-cylinder diesel engine offered with either temperate or tropical cooling. Its premium features and design provide economic and durable operation as well as an exceptional power-to-weight ratio, excellent load acceptance and improved gaseous emissions. According to the manufacturer it ‘offers the overall performance and reliability characteristics essential to today’s power generation market’. Two other sets supplied are GP1380 1250 kVA models - these feature a Baudouin 12M33G1400/5 engine from the 12M33 range. The engines aspiration comes

3,500 KVA DIESEL GENSETS AT ITALY’S SORTING CENTRE from its turbocharger and air to air after cooler. The 12-cylinder engine is set up to run at 50 Hz and rotates counter clockwise. The fuel injection system uses an inline fuel injection pump with an electronic governor. This diesel engine is produced both in China and France. This 12M33G1400/5 Baudouin Engine produces 1622.6 horsepower (1210 kWm) when running at 1500
RPM and has a total displacement of 39.2-litres. It has a powerful engine which can be coupled with an alternator to create an effective diesel generator which can be used for power generation in multiple industries and sectors. Syncing the generator with other generators provides extra power production and increased reliability of power. All three Green Power solutions are equipped with STAMFORD alternators.
Operation with hydrogen. New variants of the TCG 3016, TCG 3020 and TCG 2032 series enable natural gas operation with hydrogen admixture of up to 25 vol.%. Retrofit solutions for existing plants are also available.
