Dr. Kathleen Hurley, Psy.D.
As the founder and co-director of Sage Psychology, Dr. Kathleen Hurley has over a decade of experience and expertise in school psychology, neuropsychological assessments, and individual therapy. Dr. Hurley specializes in evaluations for NVLD, autism, learning disorders, emotional concerns, ADHD, and executive functioning deficits, using evidence-based strategies and therapeutic approaches to support children, adolescents, and families with educational needs.
Dr. Melanie Popovits, Psy.D.
Dr. Melanie Popovits is a school psychologist who supports students academically, socially, and emotionally. Through individual therapy and psychological assessments, she provides evidence-based interventions tailored to adolescents and young adults, helping them navigate academic pressures and personal development. Dr. Popovits is committed to empowering her clients, fostering resilience, and helping them achieve their goals.
Dr. Ilana Melvin, Psy.D.
Dr. Ilana Melvin is a psychologist with more than fifteen years of experience helping children, teens, adults, and families navigate challenges and strengthen their mental health in a supportive, client-centered therapeutic environment. She specializes in working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, family stress, health concerns, and life transitions. She supports students with social, emotional, learning, and developmental needs and conducts psychological and educational evaluations to guide effective, individualized interventions.
Beth Sugerman, MS, CCC-SLP
Since receiving her MS in Speech and Language Pathology at Teachers College, Columbia University in 1997, Beth has held several roles at Winston Prep’s NYC campus, including Operations, Focus Program, and Admissions Director. From its fall opening in 2007 until June 2023, she acted as Head of School at Winston’s Norwalk, CT campus. Beth’s varied range of experience has culminated into her current role as Chief Enrollment Officer, allowing participation in all enrollment and admissions activities within Winston’s growing national network of campuses and programmatic entities.
