A great 12 year old Demerara rum from El Dorado. This has won golds at the Caribbean Rum Taste Test in London 7 times in the first 10 years! There are nine stills at the distillery, and this is based around coffey still rum, and double wooden pot still rum. Amber; rich nose of butter tart, molasses, and a hint of coconut; soft and creamy on the palate with contrasting notes of creamy butterscotch and a hint of candied orange peel.

This was rated the best rum in the world at the International Wine and Spirit Competition four years running. This is pot-distilled and matured in bourbon barrels. A silky entry leads to a moderately full-bodied palate of vibrant, yet refined dry caramel and grilled tropical fruit flavours braced by warm alcohol, and firm, smooth oak spice. Somewhat scotch like, with subtle peaty overtones.

Beautiful amber gold. A true Bajan rum with complex and well-balanced notes of ripe tropical fruits and vanilla, evolving to delicate hints of white peach and coconut. The double aging creates a first wave of tropical candied fruits leading to voluptuous bourbon vanilla notes, whose richness is perfectly balanced by the fresh fruits and delicate tannins of the second aging in small Cognac casks.

This extraordinary vintage was introduced to mark the 20th anniversary of Maison Ferrand. An assemblage of fine rums 12 - 20 years old, all originating in Barbados. As with the other rums in the Plantation range, this exotic spirit is aged first in its original country, Barbados, and then benefits with further aging and nurturing in Cognac.
Clean, medium intensity on the nose that encompasses prunes, dried raisins, sultana and baked pears. The aromas expands into pronounced notes of tobacco, followed by an array of spices, dark toffee and butterscotch. On the palate, a smooth and warming texture with pronounced notes of tobacco, ginger and cloves which unfold into dark chocolate and raisin. Smooth, long finish with notes of golden syrup, mango and cinnamon.

Dred chunks of coconut are infused in a blend of Barbados rum. The fruit infusion is then blended with Barbados rum aged up to 3 years old, creating an exquisite marriage of two icons of Caribbean culture.
