Taken to Australia to compete against their best, Turn Me Loose contracted travel sickness to such an extent he had to be rested and put aside until his 4YO season. Returning to racing as a Spring 4YO in Melbourne, Turn Me Loose quickly recaptured Gr.1 winning form, stringing together successive wins in the Listed Seymour Cup, Gr.2 MVRC Schweppes Crystal Mile and $1 million Gr.1 VRC Emirates Stakes. Turn Me Loose franked his highclass Australian form the following Autumn with a powerful winning effort against Australia’s best WFA sprinter/milers in the Gr.1 MRC Futurity Stakes over 1400m at Caulfield. Turn Me Loose repelled all challengers in the Futurity Stakes to record a resounding victory against a field containing eight other Gr.1 winners whose combined earnings exceeded $16.5 million, Turn Me Loose was a leading Australasian 3 & 4YO and was crowned Champion Sprinter & Middle Distance Horse in NZ in 2015/16.
