WELCOME TO WINDSOR PARK STUD’S 2026 RUGBY, RACING AND BEER SALE

We are delighted to host you at this year’s event - an initiative launched to promote racing ownership and participation in the South Island.

Windsor Park is proud to support two outstanding charities through a contribution from our sale proceeds - the New Zealand Horse Ambulance Trust and Hato Hone St John Ambulance.

We are pleased to welcome ANDY ELLIS , who earned 28 caps for the All Blacks and was a key member of the 2011 Rugby World Cup-winning team. Renowned for his leadership and composure at halfback, he now hosts the top rating TV show Moving Houses, bringing his engaging personality and authentic Kiwi humour to audiences nationwide.

Joining him is leading Sydney trainer BJORN BAKER , one of Australia’s top horsemen. The son of legendary New Zealand trainer Murray Baker, Bjorn is based at Warwick Farm where he has built an extremely successful stable earning a reputation for consistent results at the highest level.

Our MCs for the event are Trackside’s own GREG O’CONNOR , and the world’s best thoroughbred auctioneer, STEVE DAVIS .

We also extend our sincere thanks to our major event partners, KIA and BAYLEYS , for their valued sponsorship of this year’s event.

With your continued support, we are confident that the 2026 Rugby, Racing and Beer Sale will be another outstanding success and an enjoyable occasion for all.

Kind regards,

Rod and the Team

NICHOLSON AUTOS is a proud family-owned business with deep roots in the Waikato, representing KIA, Suzuki, Mazda, Nissan, GWM/Haval, alongside a wide range of quality used vehicles. Since our early days in Morrinsville, the business has grown across multiple regions and franchises, but one thing has remained constant, our commitment to looking after our customers properly.

Like the thoroughbred industry, our business is built on long-term relationships, trust, and a shared passion. Horse racing is something that resonates strongly within the Nicholson family and our wider team, with several of us personally involved in ownership and the industry itself. It’s a space we genuinely care about, not just from the sidelines, but as participants and supporters.

Our partnership with WINDSOR PARK STUD reflects that connection. As both a valued customer and a respected name in the industry, Windsor Park represents the same values we hold, quality, dedication, and a long-term approach to success. Their support of our business through the KIA vehicle purchases is something we don’t take lightly, and in turn, we believe in backing those who back us.

At Nicholson Autos, it’s always been about more than just vehicles - it’s about people, relationships, and backing each other for the long run.
