ONE APPLICATION, TWO REBATES
Grocery Sales Tax Rebate Program Expands to Include Utility Bills The Town of Windsor’s Grocery & Utility Rebate Program helps income-qualifying residents offset everyday household costs through a single application. Residents who meet program requirements are automatically considered for both the grocery sales tax rebate and the utility rebate. Eligible applicants must be Windsor residents and meet household income requirements equal to or below 60% of the area median income. Applicants should be prepared to provide a valid photo ID, proof of Windsor residency. The grocery rebate provides $250 per household. For utility rebates, applicants must be an active Town of Windsor water, sewer, or combined water and sewer customer. Utility rebate amounts vary based on service type. Applications may be submitted at any time beginning in May through the end of the year, with rebate payments issued during scheduled payment windows. To receive a payment in July, applications must be submitted by June 30.
