As summer approaches, so do roadway improvements Stay informed on all the upcoming Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) projects by visiting the town’s Project Connect platform! Every year, Windsor’s major projects are budgeted and separated into five separate categories based on the type of project: transportation, water, sewer and stormwater, parks and trails, facilities and street maintenance. Some projects are detailed as high impact areas, that are deemed to have significant impact to the public, either during construction, for the services they will provide or because of their financial impact. impact has its own dedicated Project Connect page. While it’s not a complete list of projects, it captures the most visible and vital projects for the community. Projects are updated monthly and available to view to all Windsor residents and business owners. Project Connect is also used for public input opportunities on various master plan updates, playground updates and opportunities to attend in-person events to talk with town staff and project consultants. With the town’s increased need to improve vital infrastructure as northern Colorado continues to grow, deciding which projects will be carried out each year can be complicated at times. Roads are a lot like houses. Maintain them over time, they last longer and repairs cost less than if you let needed repairs go untouched.
Project Connect is the best way to stay updated on progress, provide feedback, participate in public input surveys and receive email notifications with important updates on the projects you care about most.
