PAYMENT & REFUND INFORMATION

Payments:

• Payment must be made in full at the time of registration. VISA, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express accepted.

Refunds:

• Refund requests must be made prior to the first day of the program, class, or league. Refund requests after the first day due to illness, injury, or relocation is subject to review by the Director.

• All refunds will be assessed a 10% administrative charge, not to exceed $5.

• All refund requests must be made in writing by email to parksandrecreation@williamsburgva.gov.

OPEN GYM TIME

The recreation center offers a variety of open gym times. Hours are subject to change. A $2 daily rate is required to participate in all open gym activities.

WILLIAMSURG WALKING CLUB

The Williamsburg Walking Club is a FREE program that provides an excellent opportunity for individuals who want to exercise but do not want aerobics or may not be physically able to do other types of exercises. Walkers are encouraged to walk at their own pace in the comfort of the air conditioned/heated gym.

PICKLEBALL

Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton, and ping pong. It’s fast-paced and easy to learn, great exercise, and lots of fun! Balls and paddles are available free of charge.

BASKETBALL

Whether you are looking to hone your skills or to participate in a pick-up game, open play basketball is for you. Basketballs are provided. Personal basketballs are not allowed.

VOLLEYBALL

This drop-in program is fun and a great way to get some exercise and meet new people. Volleyballs are provided. Personal volleyballs are not allowed.

Looking for that perfect location for a party or a place to celebrate a special occasion? Quarterpath Recreation Center has three rooms available for rent for birthday parties, bridal and baby showers, and corporate events. The 18,000-square-foot gymnasium is also available for rent. MEMORIAL MILE SPECIAL EVENTS & CLASSES

Williamsburg Parks & Recreation honors and remembers the sacrifice of our fallen Military, Fire, Emergency Medical Services, and Law Enforcement members by sharing their fallen hero stories at Waller Mill Park. During Memorial Day weekend, we honor those who were killed in the line of duty.

CLEAN THE BAY DAY

Williamsburg Parks and Recreation, the Chesapeake Bay Foundation and other partners across Virginia are recruiting volunteers for “Clean the Bay Day” scheduled for 9am to noon Saturday, May 2. The City of Williamsburg clean-up location for adults 18+ is Waller Mill Park

Not only is Waller Mill Park a great place for boating, fishing, hiking scenic trails, and enjoying a round or two of disc golf, it is also the home of our drinking water source. When we keep the park clean, we keep our drinking water clean.

In operation since 2002, the Williamsburg Farmers Market features an average of 40 vendors focused on produce, prepared food, and farm-related products grown or made in Virginia and has been serving between 1,000 and 1,500 people on any given Saturday.

Spend time connecting with the outdoors at beautiful Waller Mill Park. This 2,705-acre park is situated around a reservoir that opened to the public in July 1972. The 360-acre reservoir is open for fishing, boating, pedal boating, canoeing, and kayaking with a tunnel connecting the upper and lower sections of the reservoir. Many picnic tables, picnic shelters, play fields, and playground equipment are nestled among the trees.

Are you planning a family event or birthday party? Consider renting one of our four picnic shelters at Waller Mill Park. DISC GOLF

Waller Mill Park is also home to an 18-hole Disc Golf course. Disc Golf is played in much the same fashion as traditional golf but uses thrown discs instead of a struck ball.

WALLER MILL DOG PARK

The 1.5-acre dog park at Waller Mill Park is an unleashed dog park with two areas for dogs to run. One fenced area is for smaller dogs weighing 30 lbs. or less, and the other fenced area is for all dogs. A daily pass to the dog park is $2 per day / per dog with proof of rabies vaccination and dog license. Memberships are also available at the boathouse and are priced as specified below.

W/JCC/York County Resident:
