How Does It Work?
Start with a sturdy foundation, either clamped to your deck or installed into the ground with our easy-to-use Ground Auger. Secure with the included 2-Piece Stabilizer to keep the system upright and steady year-round.
Then customize it by adding feeders, accessories, or seasonal add-ons. Itās easy to expand or adapt your feeding station any time.

Window Strike Zone
Birds can mistake clear glass for open sky, which can lead to serious injuries and even worse*. If you want to watch the birds up close, keep them safe by placing your APS setup within 3 feet of a window.
At this distance, birds canāt build up enough speed to be seriously hurt if they collide. If you prefer more space, place your setup at least 10 feet away from windows to reduce the chance of confusing reflections.
Squirrel-proof Zone
To help keep squirrels from reaching your feeders, place your APS setup at least 10 feet away from anything they could jump from, such as trees, fences, decks, or railings. This distance helps keep feeders accessible to birds, not critters.

3 Steps to Creating Your APS Setup
The secret to a solid setup starts with our redesigned 2-Piece Stabilizer. It keeps your setup standing upright, even in windy conditions. Just slide it onto the pole, plant it into the ground, and stabilize it - no tools required. Enjoy a feeding station that stands straight and looks great all year.
Step 1: Plant It
One leg of the 2-piece Stabilizer includes a built-in hex tool accessible by sliding the circle cutout over the top of the Base Pole. Using the hex tool, twist the pole clockwise to screw into the ground until it feels solid and secure.
Step 2: Stabilize It
First, slide the wider Stabilizer leg (A) onto the Base Pole. Then slide the Stabilizer leg with the hex tool (B) on perpendicularly. Push both legs into the ground and tighten the thumb screw to lock them in place.
Step 3: Accessorize It
Customize by adding feeders, accessories, or seasonal add-ons (sold separately). The modular design allows you to easily expand or adapt your feeding station over time.

A Perch with a Purpose
Placing an APS Decorative Branch Perch on your setup is the perfect way to give your birds a natural-looking place to pause as they wait their turn at the feeder. Instead of waiting out of view in a nearby tree or bush, this perch allows birds to remain in sight while they wait to eat. It can also be used to hang additional lightweight feeders.

Add a Baffle to Protect Feeders from Critters
Position your APS setup at least 10 feet from trees, fences, or railings, and mount the Squirrel Baffle with its top 4.5ā5 feet off the ground. This keeps squirrels from climbing or leaping to your feeders.
Mount your Raccoon Baffle with its top 4.5ā5 feet off the ground to keep raccoons from climbing to your feeders. Especially recommended for deck and bird house setups.
