DUAL ADVISING

The completion of an associate’s degree does not guarantee that all general education requirements needed at Wichita State have been met. By taking advantage of Wichita State’s dual-advising program, you can streamline your transition to becoming a Shocker and achieving your academic goals.

THROUGH DUAL ADVISING, YOU CAN...

• Develop a relationship with a Wichita State advisor who can answer program-specific questions.

• Create a course of study that is appropriate to your academic goals.

• Reduce unnecessary enrollments — saving time and money.

*The dual advising form should only be completed for prospective students coming from a Kansas community college. Check out the Transfer Gateway to see how your credits may transfer to your desired degree by visiting wichita.edu/transfergateway.

• Receive timely information on deadlines, scholarships, financial aid, and curriculum changes.

• Get an inside look at resources available at Wichita State.

• Meet with Wichita State faculty before you enroll.
