Cradoc Golf Club, Mid Wales
There is no doubting the splendour and beauty that Mid Wales has to offer. Central Wales is a vast area which offers visitors a variety of classic golf courses whilst enjoying some of the most breath-taking scenery in the whole of the UK.

Challenging Nefyn
With lots of golf courses, each with the backdrop of the Irish Sea and the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales offers truly unique and testing golfing experiences on stunning mountain-backed parkland, links-style golf courses. Conditions can be difficult but, the golf enjoyable and the views, inspiring!
Located in Gwynedd, visitors can be guaranteed of a golfing experience to remember at Nefyn Golf Club. Idyllically set on the northern coastline of the Llyn Peninsula, Nefyn dates back to 1907 and offers 27 inspiring holes of golf coupled with breathtaking views.
With constantly changing challenges due to its coastal location, that demand the utmost concentration and accuracy, Nefyn Golf Club features a superbly appointed 18 hole golf course available to play all year round and a 9 hole course that can be included subject to time of the year and availability.
The 18 hole Championship golf course combines a clifftop front nine with a superb inland back nine and offers a mix of holes which present a true test of ability. The Championship course has a WHS course rating of 71.9 and modest slope rating of 120 which can feel a cumbersome task when the wind is blowing!
Whilst, the 9 hole Point golf course stunning terrain adjacent to the Irish Sea has awesome golf holes testing all aspects of one’s game.
The point does close for the winter with the weather deciding when, but usually around the end of December. It is then restricted on busy weekends and half terms, but they have had to make the decision to close it completely in the summer as it is too dangerous to play due to the pedestrians on the path.

Situated on Holt Road in Wrexham and regarded as one of the premier golf clubs in Wales, Wrexham Golf Club has regularly plays host to many national and international golfing events.

The par 72 Porthmadog golf course stretches over 6, 326 yards from the championship tees. The front nine is predominantly set on a heathland layout whilst, the course’s back nine has more of a links style to it. Each loop of nine provides stunning views of the Cardigan Bay coast and the Snowdonia mountain range.
The course has a WHS slope rating of 124 representing a fair challenge to all levels of golfer.

The Superb Machynys The Best Corporate Golf In Wales

Legendry golf course architect, James Braid originally designed the Wenvoe golf course then, some years later, fellow renowned designer, C. K. Cotton was instructed to advise on further modifications. Improvements to the course have been carefully planned and implemented since this time, whilst retaining the golf course’s modern charm and use of the natural undulations of the surrounding countryside.
The Wenvoe Castle clubhouse has also seen significant improvement and refurbishment over the test of time. The current clubhouse is the set on the unique site of a former castle which was built in the 1700s.
Today, the clubhouse comprises the superb, Castle Suite function room, as well as spacious lounge areas, a well-stocked bar and separate dining room making for the ideal retreat whether enjoying a drink with friends or for a more formal dining occasion.
