The 'Organale' collection captures the fierceness and power of femininity through silhouette, strong fabrications and colour, exploring parallels between the manmade and natural world. The hero look in this collection is a leather asymmetrical dress with cutouts that reveal the under layer, a two-tiered organza dress. The leather cutout's are organically shaped, mimicking elements of the natural world. The asymmetrical leather hero has been split into panels to maximise usage of the hide to help fabric waste and promote sustainability within my garments. Cutouts and organic edges on leather fabrics are also consistent throughout this collection.
Colour palette throughout the collection will be neutrals, heavily determined by earthy colours found in nature. However the hero garment uses strong, bright colours such as deep reds to represent fauna and organisms in nature. Target audience are woman 20-30 years old that are looking to express the fierceness of femininity and translate that through fashion. Ultimately, the aim for this collection is to establish a unique perspective of my design aesthetic. Through strong elements that have been consistent throughout my design style, I will provide a new, contemporary view on the fashion world.
