The objective of golf is to strike the ball from the tee and sink the ball into the hole in the green in as fewest strokes.
the rULES Here the basics that you need to know: Golf is played by striking the ball in as few shots from the tee to the green where players putt into the hole. The number of rounds played are eighteen, or nine in most social games. The player must strike the ball from where is lands on the fairway. If the ball is hit out-of-bounds the player hits again from the point they just played and a one-stroke penalty is added. If the ball lands in the water a one-stroke penalty is added and the player can either play from their original shot
or drop the ball behind the body of water. If you take up a divot or grass when you strike the ball, just add some sand from your sand bucket and repair the divot. Keep quiet while the other players hit their ball and be respectful of those playing. Be careful of where you stand, and always stand a distance behind the other players when they strike the ball. Lastly, take your time, but not too much. Play to to the pace of the course so to not hold up the other players.

Golfers need a range of clubs to stroke the ball from the tee to the green. First off, use your driver to tee off. There are 8 irons that are commonly used which are numbered from 2-9. The lower the iron number the longer the shot and vice-versa. The pitching wedge is used for high shots near the green, and the sand wedge is for getting the ball out of those pesky bunkers. The last club you will use is the putter. This club is used to roll the ball into the hole.
