This collection keeps in touch with heritage and nature; where civilisation started. As a designer, using sustainable fibres is our way of contributing to sustainability and heal the earth from microplastics. This is a four piece collection that consists of upside down silhouettes inspired by lotus leaves, water ripples and tree roots. The main fabric used is Soluna Chambray which is heavy weight and suitable for sculpting the uncommon silhouettes of the collection. Aimed towards the luxury winter women’s wear more leaning towards feminine grace, warmth, comfort and sustainability.
The main focus is on silhouettes and three dimensional textures which are informed by nature’s gifts as natural fibres have been used for many centuries and are more reliable during the test of time. Wool is also being incorporated in this collection and is wrinkle resistant which keeps the silhouettes in pristine condition during and after use. The sleeves, pompoms and shall are made with super puff wool. Wool has temperature regulating properties which will keep the wearer warm in the winter while comforting to the touch.
