See I Sea The collection I See, I Sea is inspired by modern day pirates who travel around the world to fulfill their own purposes, like a pirate trying to find treasure for keepsake. The purpose behind the design is to create clothing that is wearable yet fashionable ,and can be adjusted to the wearer’s style or aesthetic especially in a modern world where we ‘ dress to impress’.
The ocean waves and how boats follow the motions of the water represent the wearer of the collection; they are a type of person who is free spirited and goes with the ‘flow’. The utilisation of hues of blue tones represents an affluent woman aged 20-30. She is independent and curious about the many wonders of the world Wand is ready to take on what the world around us offers, thus she is fearless ,and eager to learn the natures of the worlWd. The client prefers fashion clothing that is sustainable and that can be styled in different ways especially since she is travelling frequently. She loves to wear fun prints, textures, and bold colours which symbolises her self confidence and free spirited nature. This woman is a socialite who inspires others to worry less about what others think about you ,and is motivated in building self confidence in those around her. The collection is to be sold to a Luxury Korean retailer known as ‘Boon The Shop’, this collection WWWconsists of a ready-to-wear oversized shirt dress retailing at $450, a pair of pants for $290 and a vest top retailed at $250. Overall ‘ I See, I Sea’ conveys the message of one trying to find some sort of direction that they can follow and may lead them to learn something they have not known before. It also depicts the idea that travelling to other places can open a wider perspective to things you have never put much thought into and understanding why things may be the way they are.
