Recliamed hardwood / Recycled hardwoods bring depth, history and integrity to my design. Salvaged from old structures, each piece carries its own patina, grain and imperfections—adding warmth and character that new timber can’t replicate
Animal fur upholstry / Animal fur upholstery adds warmth, texture and a sense of intimacy—used sparingly, it softens harder surfaces and invites touch.
Rammed earth / Rammed earth is a sustainable building material made by compressing layers of soil into solid, breathable walls that regulate temperature and age beautifully.

Denva is an emerging designer based in Wollongong NSW, who works where memory meets material. Thoughtful and emotionally attuned, she crafts immersive spaces and identities that resonate with place, people, and story. Growing up in the country, Denva is grounded in the textures of semi-rural Australia and inspired by art, fashion, and the natural world, Denva’s work blends cultural narrative with technical precision—balancing Revit rigour, atmospheric layouts, and tactile detail. Whether shaping a bush-luxe Airbnb or refining a brand’s visual language, she designs with empathy, restraint, and a deep respect for context. Every project is an invitation to feel, to pause, and to connect.
Obsidian is a nature bound retreat, set amongst the stunning Australian landscape located in Darkes Forest Riding Ranch - where hospitality, horses and humans intertwine. This immersive retreat invites the disconnection of digital noise, and reconnection with the land.

A project consisting of three redesigned structures on an already thriving riding ranch, now includes five added Eco Huts for guest accommodation, a redesign of the existing homestead; now a thriving restaurant for all to enjoy and revived stable facilities for guests to relax as well as their horses. A place for all, whether you’re spending the day enjoying the riding facilities or exploring the forest trails, staying overnight in the off grid Eco Huts escaping everyday life, or wanting to enjoy a quality fine dining experience at the restaurant that is set amongst Australians finest backdrop - Obsidian is the perfect getaway, for people and their horses.
