ABOUT
Burrowes Rest is a hidden gem buried within the mountains of the King Valley. An italian family grew up on the property, planting orchards and crafting wine, before passing it on. The client intends to restore it to its former glory by renovating the three huts and placing vintage caravans along the river. Her hope is to create an environment where guests can unwind and reconnect. Back to basics. At each flip of the page there is a sense of stillness mixed with a unique personality. A place to unwind and recconect to the simple processes of life. Conversations around the campfire, dips in the stream and wine at sunset. Immersed in the valley, surrounded by gourmet food and wine. A land awaiting occupation.

Harry Power
Harry Power was a notorious bushranger that was believed to be the mentor of Ned Kelly. He had a hideout in a cave that overlooked the King Valley, which is called Powers Lookout. Burrowes Rest can be seen from the mountain top where he once stood.
