Miss T's began as a small, private studio on Walnut Street's third floor in 2012. It was built on trust, care, and personal service. We moved to Ellsworth Avenue's second floor three years later as our community grew. We could offer more services while maintaining the calm, thoughtful experience our clients loved in this chapter. Today, we welcome you to our ground-floor home at 5879 Ellsworth Avenue. With its beauty and health focus, Miss T's new space is exciting. We now offer infrared sauna and red light therapy in addition to our nail and skin care services. These help relax, improve circulation, speed recovery, and improve health. As Miss T's grows, we still want to make it a welcoming place for beauty, health, and real connection.

“I've always loved making things that help people relax, feel good about themselves, and know that they are being cared for. Every day, I'm motivated by the fact that I can grow while still providing a personal touch and making a place where beauty and wellness really help with everyday life.”

The completion of the Victorian Neighborhood encompassed a total restoration of its front porch and lobby, main entry, and drive experience, as well as updates and enhancements to all Victorian guestrooms, the Victorian garden courtyard, event spaces (including the iconic Crown Room), and the addition of two new dining destinations: the acclaimed Nobu Del Coronado and Veranda, an al fresco dining experience with breathtaking ocean views.
Hotel del Coronado’s revitalized Victorian guest rooms elevate the property’s rich heritage with luxurious modern accents. Reflecting the building's history, no two guest rooms are exactly alike, adding to the property's unique charm. The design reimagines Victorian aesthetics with brighter floral textiles, a refreshing departure from the typically darker palettes of that era.

Furnishings thoughtfully combine caning and wicker with deep wood tones, achieving a balance of richness and airy texture for a timeless yet fresh ambiance. Headboards, while retaining classic curved silhouettes, are crafted from woven vinyl raffia, and floral wallcoverings reference the hotel’s lush gardens The lighting scheme seamlessly integrates both modern and traditional designs, utilizing diverse materials.

“From its earliest days, Hotel del Coronado has been a pioneer, continuously redefining the resort experience,” said JP Oliver, managing director, Hotel del Coronado. “After this transformative journey, we are proud to set a new benchmark for resort excellence and continue exceeding expectations for a new era of guests and visitors.”

Bringing together top design and architecture talent, the meticulously executed, full propertywide restoration prioritized historical accuracy. Collaborators included Wimberly Interiors, in partnership with WATG, and GSB Inc., Burton Studios, who served as Architect of Record for the Victorian Garden Courtyard, and David Marshall of Heritage Architecture & Planning, who provided historical architecture consultation throughout the duration of the project.

In his own words:
I am a Los Angeles based photographer who focuses on weddings, events, portraits, and storytelling through imagery. I started my photography journey many years ago with nothing more than a camera, curiosity, and a desire to freeze moments that make people feel something. Over time, that curiosity evolved into a passion, and that passion evolved into a career that I truly love.

“The unscripted moments often become the most special”
- Nick Renaud
“My style is warm, candid, cinematic, and emotion-driven. I love working with natural light, authentic moments, and scenes that tell a story. At the heart of everything I do is connection. The more connected people feel during a shoot, the more genuine and timeless the images become.”
- Nick Renaud
“When I am not behind the camera, I am often writing, creating comedy content, or diving into photography projects that allow me to experiment and grow. I feel incredibly grateful that photography has become such an important part of my life and career. ” - Nick Renaud

How did you become a photographer?
“I became a photographer by accident at first. I picked up a camera out of curiosity, started photographing the people around me, and quickly realized how much I loved storytelling through images. Before long, friends were asking me to shoot their portraits and events, and that slowly turned into a professional path. What started as a small passion grew into something I couldn't imagine my life without.” - Nick Renaud

What inspires your creativity?
“Human connection. Real moments. Light. Emotion. I am always inspired by the way people interact, laugh, celebrate, and express themselves. I love finding beauty in ordinary moments, and I draw creativity from movies, travel, music, colors, and the world around me. Any time I can capture something honest and meaningful, it fuels me. ” -
Nick Renaud

“Photography has allowed me to meet incredible people, travel to meaningful places, and capture some of life’s most important milestones. I approach every shoot with the same intention: make people feel comfortable, seen, and celebrated. Whether it is a wedding day, a family session, or a simple portrait, I believe photos should capture not just what you look like, but who you are.

“Mystyleiswarm, candid,cinematic,and emotion-driven.Ilove workingwithnatural light,authentic moments,andscenes thattellastory.Atthe heartofeverythingIdois connection.Themore connectedpeoplefeel duringashoot,themore genuineandtimelessthe imagesbecome.”
-NickRenaud

is your best advice to couples planning their wedding photos?
“Focus on how you want your day to feel, not just how you want it to look. Choose a photographer you feel comfortable with and trust, because the more relaxed you feel, the more natural and beautiful your photos will be. Plan your timeline with light in mind, give yourselves moments to breathe, and remember that the unscripted moments often become the most special.” - Nick Renaud

What inspired the founding mission of the Children’s Aid Home, and how has that mission evolved to meet today’s needs?
The founding mission of our agency was inspired by a deep recognition of the urgent need for safe, nurturing, and equitable care for families facing poverty, trauma, and systematic barriers.
What began as a response to a community need grew into a mission rooted in dignity and opportunity. We believe every child deserves the chance to thrive, and every family deserves support, not judgment. Our work is driven by the understanding that services are not only a foundational need but a powerful tool for breaking cycles of generational hardship. Our mission continues to be inspired by the resilience of the families we serve

Lynne Sabloski serves as the Executive Director of The Children’s Aid Home Programs of Somerset County, Inc., a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth and supporting families in crises through trauma informed care, educational programs and communitybased services. With over 30 years experience in the field, Lynne brings deep commitment to equity, youth empowerment, and systematic change. Under her leadership, The Children’s Aid Home has expanded its programming, forged key partnerships with schools and local agencies, and developed innovative programs that address the root causes of family instability and youth disengagement.

Lynne visited Windber to participate in preparation for the annual “Tri*Star-Karz for Kidz” fundraiser. She had the pleasure of spending time with the “Tri*Star-Karz for Kidz” brain trust, as well as speaking with members of the community regarding their programs, and the importance of fundraising events such as “Karz for Kidz”
What is one program or initiative you’re most proud of right now, and why?
We are proud of our endeavor to provide a continuum of services in order to meet the needs of our community This becomes increasingly important for children and families who are navigating incredibly difficult circumstances including homelessness, trauma or involvement in the child welfare system. This continuum goes beyond immediate crisis response. We walk alongside families, offering not just resources but consistency that helps build trust and long term stability. The opportunity for families to overcomebarriers is a reflection of what is possible when communities invest in families facing adversity This embodies the heart of our mission that everyone deserves a chance to heal, grow and thrive.
Ellen Forney, Placement Director at CAHP, along with her adopted daughter, Augie, a 4 legged volunteer at CAHP and resident ray of sunshine.
Ellen is holding a piece of art drawn by a prisoner at Somerset SCI. This piece of art will be raffled off at our annual fundraiser.

Augie was previously involved with the Canine Partners for Life. This program uses inmates to train puppies to work as certified service dogs for individuals with physical and cognitive disabilities. Ellen met Augie as a volunteer for the Canine Partners for Life.

Photo is of Shayna Ryman (on the right), previously a resident of CAHP. Shayna now volunteers with the Chili Pepper MiniHorse Therapy Program. Also pictured is mini therapeutic horse, Daisy and her owner (on the left), Sharon Binkey. Shayna “gives back” for the care she received at The Children’s Aid Home by visiting the children on a quarterly basis. Shayna also talks to the kids about her time in care. She attributes her success to the support she received from CAH. Shayna is married and is a proud Mama to 4 beautiful children.
How can people in the community—whether individuals or businesses—get involved or support your mission?
There are many meaningful ways the community can get involved and help support our mission. Volunteer Your Time: Helping with events, spearheading projects to support our children and families. Donate: Financial contributions, regardless of the size, help us provide direct services, emergency support, and critical programming for children and familis in crisis. Share Your Skills: Offering opportunities in areas like creative arts, job readiness, music instruction, etc. Advocate: Help us raise awareness by sharing our mission, attending community events, or speaking up for policies that protect vulnerable children and families. Partner With Us: Local businesses, faith communities and civic groups can collaborate with us on drives, sponsorships, and outreach efforts. Ultimately, we believe community change happens when people come together!

What’s one thing you wish more people understood about supporting individuals and families navigating autism?

It’s important to recognize the immense challenges faced by families with children on the autism spectrum. These families often spend countless hours attending therapy sessions and doctor appointments, while also managing medications and at-home therapies. The early years of parenting a child on the spectrum can be particularly overwhelming, making the support and encouragement from family and friends invaluable. Additionally, loved ones can play a crucial role in helping these families by including them in social gatherings. Inviting them to events, rather than shying away due to a child's diagnosis, fosters positive interactions that are beneficial for everyone involved. Such experiences not only provide parents with a chance to connect and break free from isolation, but they also offer children the opportunity to learn and grow through engagement with neurotypical peers.

Your practice emphasizes personalized, relationship-based care—how do you foster trust with patients over time?
“It’s being able to get to know people individually and truly partnering with patients in their care. We have tried to maintain the connections and bridge the gap between some of the old world charm from an era gone by, while still committing to evolving and modernizing the practice of medicine.” -Dr. Mike Wong

How has your medical background or personal journey shaped the way you approach family medicine today?
“For me personally, growing up in a medical family, I always had exposure to it… I jokingly said I didn’t grow up learning ABC, I started with HMO (health maintenance organization… little medical joke!). So I always knew healthcare was part of my future. I played sports of course and grew up a sports fan, mostly the Penguins and hockey. With sports came dealing with injuries… I had stress fractures from running and other injuries like that, so I have been on both sides of the exam room. I try to just extend my personality into my work, and want to create a warm atmosphere that is personable and connects with patients in a way that helps them to feel comfortable.”

“My background has made me a firm believer that the best medicine is preventative I don't just wait for problems to arise; I actively work to help you avoid them This means every visit includes an element of health coaching I translate complex medical information into actionable, everyday advice. I celebrate small victories in managing chronic conditions and consistently reinforce the importance of lifestyle choices. Our practice success isn't measured by how many conditions we treat, but by how many crises we prevent. In essence, our practice is defined by a commitment to personal relationships, proactive engagement, and genuine community support We're here to be your advocate, your guide, and your partner in health, helping you navigate not just medical challenges, but the path to a healthier life ” -Kaitlyn
