Placing people at the heart of everything we do.
Clear thinking and a rigorous conceptual approach.
Environmentally and socially aware.
The everyday human experience is the starting point for our design. Whether designing for users, passengers, residents, or passers-by, we make buildings and spaces to enrich people’s lives.
Strong design concepts are the foundation of good design. Born out of experience, innovation, and a deep appreciation of the character of place, we deliver highvalue, sustainable solutions to inspire and delight.
We are careful to work with responsible clients and project partners and prioritise projects with the greatest benefits to people’s lives.
Great design is produced by great people. We aspire to provide a supportive and fulfilling working environment to nurture the talent of our global professional team.
Craft is fundamental to our work, whether expressed through elegant details or through physical modelmaking which is an integral part of our design process.
Teamwork, collaboration, and empathy are inherent in good design. Recognising when to support, and when to lead, we bring rigour, responsibility and humility to each project.
We embrace construction challenges to generate elegant, durable structures and spaces that are simple to build and easy to maintain.

Docklands Light Rail
The Docklands Light Rail (DLR) is a key component of London’s infrastructure, enabling major events like the London Olympics and acting as a catalyst for growth across the line. The lines pass through distinct communities and landscapes, with each station integrating into the urban fabric with designs that reflect and enhance local characteristics. Our simple, legible linewide designs maximise natural daylight to enhance the passenger environment. All the stations embrace a kit of parts approach to design and construction. Modular construction and prefabrication provide a cohesiveness to the route, while allowing flexibility to reflect local personality. Working with specialist manufacturers we finessed the cladding systems, using large scale prototypes to refine details creating timeless structures.

East Croydon Bus Station East Croydon Bus Station was designed with the public in mind, not just those using the facilities but those working in the local area. Due to the number of tall buildings overlooking the station the structure and layout were designed to be dramatic when viewed from above; A series of modular canopies in bright colours creates visual interest and helps to reduce the need for extensive signage, producing a dramatic effect both by day and night.
