In this first volume every effort has been made to contact as many of the earliest arrivals in the new irrigation area as well as the "Selector" families who were here before their land was resumed. endeavour to cover as many of these families as possible. While every effort has been made to be as accurate as possible regarding this early history we are entirely reliant on peoples' memories and family traditions.
