ELECTRONIC VISUAL DISTRESS SIGNAL (EVDS) The Eflare Halo Pro Electronic Visual Distress Signal (EVDS) is an RTCM 13200.0 compliant electronic visual distress signal (EVDS). It delivers over 6 hours of operation, three times the RTCM requirement, using user-replaceable batteries. Waterproof, buoyant, and producing over 50-candela output for enhanced nighttime detection, the Halo Pro also includes a USCG-approved daytime distress flag. The Eflare HALO Pro EVDS provides sustained, easily recognised signalling, helping search and rescue authorities maintain visual contact in low light conditions.
