FEBRUARY 2023 Each month, Wentworth welcomes new staff and faculty to join our vibrant community. Meet the newest Wentworth employees and get to know a little bit about your colleagues.

Christina Arecy Assistant Director of Diversity, Engagement, and Belonging Christina will be directly supporting student clubs and organizations housed under the Center for Diversity and Global Engagement with a) the hosting of meaningful programming, b) developing trainings, programs, and spaces that promote education, self-reflection, and affinity, and c) offering advocacy and outreach to address students’ cultural, educational, emotional, physical, and spiritual needs. What’s one song you have memorized completely? I Ain’t Stressin’ Today, by Dear Silas, is a song that I have memorized and is a must-play in my morning routine. I can’t put my finger on it, but this song speaks to me from the beat, melodies, hook, lyrics, and words of encouragement. Who doesn’t love classic bop and empowering songs? I like relatable music that I can see myself playing at any age. I am consistently searching for timeless records- this song is one of them.

Susannah Gal Associate Dean - School of Sciences & Humanities Susannah is excited to join the School of Science and Humanities in part because she comes from a family of artists and musicians. “This school allows me to engage the two parts of my personality in a region with a rich history and a wealth of family connections. I really feel the energy and potential of what the faculty, staff and students in the School of Science and Humanities want to accomplish and I am very glad to be a part of this process.” Susannah’s duties for the school will include assisting part-time faculty in their teaching as well as overseeing student issues and support for all the laboratory courses. What’s the best vacation you’ve ever taken? My family and I spent 2 weeks in Alaska visiting Denali National Park and Glacier Bay National Park, among many other places. It was wonderful.

Celia Keefer Assistant Director for Clubs and Organizations Celia will provide support for student organizations registered with the Center for Student Life, including room reservations, finance management, and student organization travel planning. She will assist organization leaders develop skills for managing their organizations through student leadership workshops.

Justin Kelley Head Baseball Coach Justin Kelley brings great passion and a strong character to his role as our new Head Baseball Coach. He previously served as an Assistant Baseball Coach at the University of Massachusetts Boston and has worked as a scout and on special projects for Major League Baseball clubs.
