Wentworth Institute of Technology Impact Report 2024-2025
impact
Whether it's a quality education, cutting-edge tools, or learning on the job, a Wentworth education is fueled by the generosity of alumni, partners, families, and friends. The following pages showcase what your support accomplished this past year, on campus and around the world. Thank you for your continued support!
ON CAMPUS
Wentworth prepares students for success from the moment they step foot on the Quad. From financial aid to hands-on learning, the Wentworth Fund ensures students can thrive. This past year, the university awarded $77.76 million in financial aid to students, allowing them to focus on academics and co-ops. This type of investment pays off: 97 percent of the Class of 2024 reported working in their academic discipline within six months of graduation.
“Between the knowledge I've gained and the co-op experience, I've definitely been able to find my place and be prepared for the workforce.”
Aleksander Pelletier MS ’24 (Civil Engineering)
IN THE CLASSROOM
The School of Computing and Data Science welcomed two new faculty to the classroom. Their expertise in cybersecurity and data analytics, data integration, and cloud computing ensures that students continue to receive instruction that prepares them for in-demand careers.
IN THE CITY
Students in the School of Management and School of Sciences and Humanities made Boston their classroom, engaging in experiential learning around the city:
» Management students in the Construction Management Program visited live construction sites, learning first-hand from industry professionals from the Construction Management Industry Advisory Board.
» Sciences & Humanities students incorporated field-based climate simulations in Boston’s neighborhoods into their coursework, including water-quality testing along the Muddy River.
AROUND THE WORLD
Students in the School of Architecture and Design Master of Architecture program traveled to Tokyo, Japan. Their Graduate Design Studio centered on a collaborative research project with faculty at Tokyo University focusing on the Ueno District.
The School of Engineering represented Wentworth around the country and around the world. Students showcased their skills in competitions in Florida, Georgia, Kansas, and Michigan, and the WITAero Club received a Glass Award from the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics at the Region I conference in Montreal, Canada.
