What was your first impression of India when you arrived? Sonia: Peace among the hustle and bustle, and how beautiful the gardens and flowers were in New Delhi. Nicole: Calm! I was expecting chaos and being confronted with masses of people. It was the complete opposite. So much green space Holi Festival amongst the concrete jungle—lots of parks and tree-lined streets. What was the best meal you ate on tour? Sonia: I am always drawn to bread—so homemade, over-thefire naan with garlic and butter. YUM! Then top that off with any curry and it’s just a delight. Nicole: We dined at ‘Wok in the Clouds’, which you’ll experience on a Wendy Wu tour. The butter chicken and dahl? Absolutely phenomenal. I’m still dreaming about those flavours—I could easily have eaten them all day long! My top experiences on the Golden Triangle were:

It’s 11pm on a weeknight and I’m strolling unknown streets. A quick search on Naver reveals Seoul’s famous Gwangjang Market is within walking distance. Ten minutes later, I’m inhaling the incredible cooking aromas and staring at the bustle within.
In less than three hours on the KTX trains from Seoul, you can be in Busan. The coastline is ragged here, connected by incredible bridges. It’s the perfect blend of relaxed seaside holiday spots and lively cultural attractions. Before you leave, experience a favourite Korean pastime: Spa Land in Mandu (dumplings) stuffed with Centum City, a huge luxury kimchi or prawns.
