At first glance, the Event Chair by Tristan Lohner appears visually simple in its design. Still, after closer inspection and especially when in use, the design’s understated yet well-considered detailing reveals. Sculpted with the human body in mind, the shell draws you in, supporting and encapsulating you while seated. Almost resembling a pebble beautifully worn by the action of water, the smooth and tightly upholstered seat cushion ensures unequalled comfort.

Working wonders for any event The chair is offered with legs in black powder-coated steel as well as brown and black stained oak. The outer sides of the oak legs are rounded, whilst the inner part is plane and meets the wooden seat frame in an elegant curve. With an almost invisible transition between the upholstered seat and the legs, the steel version adds a more graphic character to the design, further accentuated by its slim and tapered profile.

Tristan Lohner The design has been named after the famous Square Montholon, located in the 9th Arr. in Paris, a recreational space in the theatre district, from which Tristan Lohner carries fond childhood memories. 11

Sinum Designed by Hoffmann Kahleyss Design

Imagined by Hoffmann Kahleyss Design, the Sinum Chair is defined by an airy aesthetic and a generously upholstered shell, held in a gentle grip by a frame in black powder-coated steel.

Deriving from the Latin word for ‘pocket’, the Sinum Chair aptly takes up little space in a room – be it the conference room, the hotel room, or the dining room. The seat is characterised by a curved pocket of padding, enclosed by either low or high armrests sloping upwards to the slightly tilted backrest that equally supports an upright and more laidback seating position.

On his initial thoughts for the design, Mario Ferrarini ponders: “I was looking out my window on an autumn day, mesmerized by the sight of leaves tumbling towards the ground from above and, particularly so, the visual effect of two leaves landing close to one another with their shapes almost overlapping. This gave me the idea for the lines of the curved seat and back of Folium.”

Folium Dining Chair The Folium Dining Chair pulls references from nature’s foliage while elevated by the bold steel base, bringing an extensively durable character to its exquisite look. The design infuses its surroundings with quiet yet impressive comfort. 21

Folium Bar Stool With its long, slender legs acting as the base of the design, the Folium Bar Stool adds a light breeze of modern refinement to any interior setting, be it at home, in a restaurant, or in an open-plan workspace.

For Note Design Studio, the overarching goal with the Ovata series was to create something that looked, felt, and spoke through the language of comfort and the result is accordingly a seating collection that promises comfortable seating for hours and hours on end.

Ovata Dining Chair

Defined by the pleated, oval-shaped backrest that gently embraces the rounded seat cushion, the design of the Ovata Dining Chair is inspired by the strong yet softly curved leaves of the succulent from which the design takes its name.

Ovata Bar and Counter Stool With the Ovata Bar and Counter Stool, the Ovata series has welcomed two additional designs to the family. Carefully dressed in the finest tactile fabrics and reiterating the signature pleated detailing at the backrest, the designs prompt a sensorial experience, that will make one feel at ease when seated – conversing, working, or sharing meals. To further ensure the design’s durability, the foot support has been reinforced with a discrete aluminium profile, stained to blend in with the tone of the wood.

Though deceptively simple in its design, the Sepal Dining Chair features a wealth of details. From the fine, lightweight frame in black powder-coated steel to the precision-made tailoring of the upholstered interior, the latter ensures unparalleled seating comfort for hours on end.

Featuring gentle curves, the armrests seamlessly complement various table styles, ensuring the design effortlessly suits a wide range of settings, including homes, offices, hospitality venues, and educational institutions.

Available with three different bases, all adding lightness to the spacious design of the shell, there truly is a Mono Chair for any purpose. A slight tilt in the front and back of the shell provides pleasant seating comfort braced by a thinly upholstered corpus, circumventing those hard edges against the back or thighs.

Versu Designed by 365 North

Shaped armrests and a soft, sculpted shell characterise the Versu Chair. The chair is available with two distinctive bases in black powder-coated steel: a tubular sled base and a tube frame with subtly united rounded legs. Prompting a gentle and harmonic idiom, both frames add lightness to the generously upholstered shell, further enriched with a stitched detail at the back.
