2024: Milestones of Impact JANUARY On Human Trafficking Awareness Day, a special Wellspring Living episode of The Balancing Act aired on Lifetime TV. The national broadcast also featured our partners at the UPS Foundation and the State of Georgia, highlighting the power of collaboration to combat human trafficking.
JUNE The Women’s Academy celebrated the graduation of 10 women from the Career Intensive Program. Graduates gained invaluable skills through mentorships, apprenticeships, and partnerships with IHG, GT Law, Arnall Golden Gregory, Delta Air Lines, UPS, the City of Atlanta and more.
JULY
FEBRUARY Over 100 individuals attended the Wellspring Living Institute’s inaugural Activating Advocates Conference in Atlanta, Georgia. This two-day event featured survivor testimonies, advocacy initiatives, and meaningful discussions about addressing sexual exploitation.
The Girls’ Residential Program celebrated the graduation of one participant and the successful transition of another. Both were recognized as good friends and leaders among their peers.

AUGUST
Wellspring Living began its 23rd year of providing survivors of sexual exploitation and those at risk with comprehensive, trauma-informed survivor-focused recovery services.
Three extraordinary women graduated from the Women’s Residential Program, each stepping into a bright and hopeful future.
SEPTEMBER
APRIL The Wellspring Treasures store in Peachtree City celebrated its 20th anniversary. Five incredible volunteers were honored for two decades of dedicated service during a special ceremony with our founder, Mary Frances Bowley. During Spring Break, participants in the Girls Residential Program enjoyed new experiences through outings across north Georgia, including visits to the Georgia Aquarium, Atlanta Zoo, Six Flags, Sandbox VR and the Humane Society.
MAY The Women’s Academy announced expanded partnerships with Dress for Success Atlanta and Hapeville United Methodist Church, increasing access to life-changing services for women at risk or impacted by exploitation.
The 2024 Courage Gala, presented by Delta Air Lines and UPS, raised over $700,000 to support trauma-informed recovery services for survivors and those at risk. Save the date for the 2025 event on Saturday, October 4, at Flourish.
OCTOBER We officially broke ground on our new South Campus, which will house Georgia’s first longterm residential facility for all youth and serve as a learning hub for trafficking organizations nationwide.
NOVEMBER Wellspring Living graduates shared their testimonies online under our expanded ethical storytelling guidelines. Through Post Program Support services graduates now have access to training and resources to share their lived experiences and advocate for others. Speakers are compensated for their time and expertise.
Wellspring Living youth programs marked the end of the school year with our third annual Field Day. Youth competed in fun team games like relay races and tugof-war, practicing healthy social and communication skills.
DECEMBER
For Mother’s Day, participants in the Women’s Residential Program received personal care and empowerment through a special day at Soma Intimates. The day was made possible by a special Mother’s Day initiative and a partnership with Soma.
As we end 2024, Wellspring Living will serve over 200 survivors and individuals at risk of sexual exploitation this year. Together, we have created opportunities for women and youth to heal, find hope, and reclaim their lives.
