Exam board specification: Cambridge International Education Year 10 GCSE Design & Technology (2028–2030 Specification) Welcome to Year 10 GCSE Design & Technology! This year focuses on building handson workshop confidence and digital design skills before launching into the official GCSE Coursework project and theory content. The course consists of a Coursework Project (50%) and two Written Theory Papers (50%) taken at the end of Year 11. Throughout Year 10, theory content is taught fluidly and assessed using short mini tests to build foundational knowledge. Please note that the order of theory areas is flexible and will adapt based on the learning pace and needs of the students.
