TEXAS INTERNATIONAL FISHING TOURNAMENT Corporate Advertising
To provide a high-quality, family-friendly fishing experience for anglers of all ages while supporting education, conservation, and environmental stewardship. For more than 80 years, TIFT has combined competitive sport fishing with family fun. The 86th annual five-day tournament features bay, offshore, fly, and tarpon divisions, welcoming anglers of every generation.
TIFT’s Impact
Largest Saltwater Fishing Tournament in Texas: TIFT attracted approximately 1,100 anglers and 400 boats in 2025.
Diverse Fishing Action: The tournament features a range of species, including snook, redfish, trout, drum, and piggy perch.
Economic Boost for the Rio Grande Valley: TIFT participants have disposable income and come from all over the country, spending over $2 million during the tournament. Hundreds of spectators also attend the weigh-in events and thousands view the online presence.
A Tradition of Growth
TIFT has grown into a cherished family tradition and a showcase for the Rio Grande Valley. With increasing registration and over $200,000 in scholarships awarded, TIFT continues to improve and expand with the support of corporate sponsors and businesses.

The 86th Texas International Fishing Tournament is scheduled for July 29 - August 2, 2026, and we’d like to share some key details with you:
• TIFT is the largest saltwater bay and offshore fishing tournament in Texas.
• It ranks among the top 10 billfish tournaments globally.
• TIFT is sanctioned by the IGA World Offshore Championship Series.

The agreement must be received by July 1. Advertiser must submit camera ready art for their full page color ad in the official program book by July 1. Advertiser understands and is fully aware that the contributions or gifts to TIFT are NOT deductible as charitable contributions for Federal income tax purposes. In the event of tournament cancellation, all monies will be applied to next year’s event. Advertiser acknowledges payment must be received by TIFT for benefits to be provided to advertiser.
