After the tribute to the glorious Venetian textiles and glass-making traditions highlighted with the debut edition, the Pasticcino Bag Hommage à la France pays homage to the art of lace-making and beautiful ceramics, two crafts belonging to the rich cultural heritage of France. Available in five colours – Citron, Rose, Graines de Courge, Cassis Violette, Réglisse – this special edition accessory is crafted in dainty lace while the two signature boules of the clasp are reimagined in enamelled ceramic. Sumptuously-textured romanticism defines this edition of the Weekend Max Mara playful clutch, to be worn all year round, from dawn to dusk.

THE BOULES
Manufacture des Emaux de Longwy 1798, a historical earthenware factory renowned for its artistic ceramics and venerable know-how, crafted the two boules in a type of ceramic called Faïence. They are handmade in custom casts and treated with high-gloss varnishes to obtain a cracklé effect in hues that match the lace.
