Commissioner Ryan Nero said he decided to run for a second term for a simple reason -- the COVID-19 pandemic derailed the council’s agenda, but now that the pandemic has receded, he believes he and the other commissioners will finally get a chance to work at their full potential. “If we get four more years together -- it’s exciting to see how much more can be done in terms of improving village of Forest Park infrastructure and bringing businesses to town without the distractions we had over the last few years with the pandemic,” he said.
