This weekend off road action returns to the Colo Motorsport Park, for Round 3 of the Hunter Rivmasta Motorsport Australia NSW Off Road Championship hosted by the Sydney Offroad Racing Association. Spearheaded by last months Kempsey 300 victor and defending NSW champion Dave Chandler #97, the strong Colo Park Challenge line up is filled with plenty of outright contenders. Without 2022 Colo Park winner Glenn Spizzo in the field, Chandler who finished last years event in third, will enter the weekend as one of the favourites.
Fellow Kempsey member Mat Huxley #19 who is set to make his Colo debut is expected to be Chandlers biggest threat, fresh of the back of a third place finish at Wittitrin despite a late mechanical issue, he will be a key player come Sunday afternoon. Likewise, 2014 Colo Park champion Derek Rose #62 who crossed for his best finish in some years at the recent Kempsey 300 and Colo debutant Benjamin Scott #76 who will be another challenger in his V8 powered Jimco.
