A good finely knotted Kashan Rug with cotton warp and wefts. The main field is decorated with palmettes, arabesques, and cloud bands with a central medallion knot. Length 6ft 9" Senneh. Width 4ft 3 " .
An exceptionally fine lsphahan silk and wool Rug. Numerous bird and floral elements in the design on eknotted in silk. The design is predominantly in blue and red on an ivory field.
A good silk inlaid Persian Qum Rug. Cotton warp and wefts, Senneh knot of very fine weave. The intricate pattern comprises cloud bands, palmettes and foliate designs covering the central field and repeated in the borders. Length 7ft 3in. Width 5ft.
A Kashan carpet Persian knot cotton warp and blue cotton weft, with woollen pile. Against a blue field richly decorated with interlaced patterns of flowering tendrils, stands a central medallion in the form of an eight pointed star. Repeated in flowering palmettes. Mosque lamps hang at each vertical. The corners of the field comprise interlaced botehs. One main and two guard borders of palmettes and flowers. Size 12ft 4in x 8ft 2in.
