Where future Champion Hurdle winners shine and the dogs steal a little of the spotlight too!

SATURDAY 14 FEBRUARY 2026
The Jockey Club would like to thank our Group Partners for their support in 2026

Welcome to BetMGM Kingwell Hurdle Day at Wincanton, one of the true highlights of the National Hunt season. Today’s card is headlined by the Grade 2 Kingwell Hurdle, a race that proved the perfect stepping stone to Champion Hurdle success last season, for last years winner Golden Ace. An excellent eight-race programme awaits, including the Agatha Christie Listed Mares’ Novices’ Chase, a welcome addition to the card and a race won last year by the Irish raider Only By Night
Away from the track action, there’s plenty to enjoy throughout the day. Dog classes and fun dog races will be taking place on the course, be sure to check the racecard for timings, while a selection of tradestands located between the Kingwell Building and the Stalbridge Bar offer something extra to browse between races.
As always, thank you for supporting racing at Wincanton. We hope you have a fantastic day and we look forward to welcoming you back on Wednesday 25 February for our next fixture
Many Thanks,
Blaithin Murphy General Manager
