As a leading distributor of horse feed, bedding and supplements in the greater GCC area, I am once again immensely proud to support the Jockey Club at Newmarket Racecourses for the 2025 season. Newmarket is credited as being where thoroughbred racing first started which is why so many from every corner of the world Mile Rowley The appreciate and assemble and The July Course.
As ever, the enthusiasm of Sophie Able and her team at Newmarket translates into a top class service for Owners, Trainers, Jockeys and Stable Staff and for that we are deeply grateful.
I would like to wish all those visiting Newmarket throughout the 2025 season, the very best of luck.
Have a wonderful day at the races today.

DUBAI TREASURE was well suited by the drop back to sprinting when notching career victory number 3 at Glorious Goodwood last month and, with further progress on the cards, Saeed bin Suroor’s filly is fancied to take this step up in grade in her stride. Lethal Levi made it 3 in-frame efforts at pattern level in a row at York 8 weeks ago and he can give the selection most to think about, while Iberian and Ten Pounds can fight out third.

The thriving ANGEL SHARED has won her last 2 starts over this C&D and should make another bold bid from the front off what remains a fair mark. Apart from her blip in the Sandringham, Arabian Leopard is having a good season and rates the main threat ahead of the unexposed Swiss Lightning.

Stewards Note:
CALIBOS: Following its run on 4/8/2025 it was reported that the horse ran too soon after its last trip
GRETNA DREAMS impressed on just her second start for Stuart Williams when going in at Brighton and can defy a 5lb weights rise at the chief expense of Ed Dunlop’s progressive Arundel who rates a big danger Recent Epsom scorer Huggable can also have a say in this intriguing handicap
VENEZUELAN appeals most having belatedly delivered on his earlier promise when routing the field in a 4-runner novice at Lingfield earlier this month. He can follow up that victory off an unchanged mark back in handicap company and while both his market rivals arrive with something to prove on the back of somewhat laboured displays, Bondi may well give him most to think about.

At Newmarket Racecourses we believe racing should be enjoyed by anyone and everyone. And one thing is certainly true, the more relaxed and comfortable we feel, the more likely we are to have a great time. So that’s why we’ve created one very simple piece of guidance, to come “dressed to feel your best”.
We’re all unique, and no more so than in our sense of style and comfort. For some, wearing a nice sweatshirt, pair of jeans and clean trainers is what makes them feel confident and at-ease. For others, they might prefer to turn heads with a sharp suit or glamorous dress and high heels, particularly for one of our big race meetings But whatever your tastes, the most important thing when choosing your outfit is, of course, comfort and confidence. So wear what feels right for you and will keep you feeling your best from start to finish, whatever the weather. Here’s some other useful tips and advice for making sure your time with us is as memorable as possible.
Fancy dress can often add colour and fun to our racedays, but please avoid inappropriate or offensive outfits, as anything deemed vulgar or derogatory may be refused entry.
We love other sports as much as anyone, but showing allegiance to a favourite club can sometimes appear antagonistic So, to keep things simple, please refrain from wearing team kits when attending one of our racedays.
Only individuals in possession of a valid betting badge and occupying an authorised pitch are entitled to lay bets in the course of their business. Any individuals found contravening these conditions will be evicted. Members of the public may not use two-way radios, scanning receivers etc, for any purpose at the racecourse.

RACEHORSE & JOCKEY WELFARE
The welfare of the sport’s equine and human participants is paramount to British Horseracing. All racehorses competing in Britain are stabled at the premises of trainers who are licensed by The British Horseracing Authority The standards demanded by The BHA of licensed racehorse trainers far exceed those prescribed by animal welfare legislation The British Horseracing Authority similarly licenses every racecourse, setting high standards for the racing surface and all parts of the course used by competitors, both human and equine. BHA Officials ensure that racecourses delivers these standards In addition Newmarket Racecourses employs a minimum of three veterinary surgeons, whose sole responsibility it is to provide care to the horses throughout their time at the racecourse In the event of an incident on the racecourse, any horse affected will receive immediate treatment from the racecourse’s veterinary team. Qualified paramedics and doctors are also on hand in the case of any incident involving a jockey If any incident occurs during a race it is routine practice for screens to be erected around the horse or jockey receiving treatment. This is to allow the veterinary or medical personnel to make a safe and accurate diagnosis and so that they may perform any treatment in a private and calm environment. If necessary, horses and riders will be transported from the course to receive further treatment at the nearest equine hospital or Accident & Emergency hospital
