The Jockey Club would like to thank our Group Partners for their support in 2026
DANIEL CRAGGS General Manager, Huntingdon Racecourse
As we welcome you to Huntingdon Racecourse for the Betano Country Raceday, we are delighted to bring together a fantastic afternoon of racing alongside a wide range of entertainment for all ages to enjoy.
Today’s fixture would not be possible without the generous support of our sponsors, and we are particularly pleased to acknowledge our title sponsor, Betano, for their valued backing of this raceday. We are also extremely grateful for the support from Brownsbarn Thoroughbreds, Brian Knight, David Pike, the Pike Family, and the Bedfordshire & District Racing Club in memory of Dave Loveridge. Their contribution plays an important role in making days like today so special.
While the racing remains at the heart of the occasion, there is plenty happening across the racecourse to capture the spirit of a true country day out. From line dancing and the ever-popular rodeo horse to family favourites such as face painting, inflatables, and a traditional Easter hunt, there is something for everyone. Younger racegoers can enjoy the petting zoo and Shetland pony racing, while classic country entertainment including welly wanging and outdoor games offer fun for all.
After the final race, the celebrations continue as we bring a taste of Nashville to Huntingdon with live music to close the day. We are thrilled to welcome Near Nashville and Miley Live, who will provide the perfect soundtrack to round off a fantastic day of racing and entertainment.
My thanks, as always, go to our owners, trainers, jockeys and stable staff for their continued support, and to our dedicated team here at the racecourse. From our grounds and maintenance teams to those working across operations, catering, sales, marketing and customer relations, their commitment ensures that every raceday runs smoothly and that all our visitors are warmly welcomed.
Whether you are here for the sport, the atmosphere, or the family entertainment, we hope you have a thoroughly enjoyable day and thank you for your continued support.
Enjoy the day.

Remembering Dave Loveridge
One in a million, with a sunny personalitythat spilled over into his special love of Racing. BDRC called him their Public Relations Officer. He would speak to anyone, dustman or Duke they were all the same to Dave and he loved everyone. Hard to encapsulate the twinkle in his eyes and the kind humour in his conversation, but he is much missed by all who knew him. The Racing Club can only paytribute to a true gentleman who loved this sport and all the people associated with it.
