Flag Of St George showed an improvement in form when finishing runner up off the same mark at Haydock, last time out. He will break from stall 17 and should be right up with the early pace of the race Terries Royale who draws stall 2, ran a nice race last time out over course and distance. He should be suited by the ground conditions and looks one for the shortlist. It Just Takes Time is a course and distance winner who looks to be in good recent form and has plenty of early speed. The ground should suit and the 7 year old is expected to run a big race for trainer Mark Walford.
12.15
The first of two tricky looking maidens. In this division the form on offer looks more than fair, the two principles look to be Big Harry with two solid runs to date and Invincible Bay, unfancied on debut at 50/1, but ran a race full of promise for the future from the powerful Richard Fahey yard One that could shake these two up is the Ed Walker trained Mollstar, slow away on debut, but fancied to run well, was 7/2 2nd favourite. Positioned wide throughout, but stayed on well in the closing stages, with this experience under her belt she is sure to improve and run well.
12:50
The second division does not have a solid look to it form wise so may well be an idea to have a couple of speculative win plays The two that stand out are the Ralph Beckett trained Angel Gabriel & I’ll Be back from the all conquering Karl Burke yard One with form and is sure to come on from her July debut is Perfect Ruler who was 11/4
2nd favourite. Inexperienced that day she still ran well albeit beaten some distance behind America Queen, who has since gone on to run really well in Group contests.
1.25
Montassib steps back to Listed company after finishing 7th of 19 runners in the British Champions Sprint Stakes at Ascot last month. The William Haggas trained gelding won the Sprint Cup Stakes at Haydock last season and looks the class pick of this race and has won over course and distance. There was not much distance between Art Power and Spycatcher when they last opposed at Curragh in September At the bigger prices, Circe looks one of the more interesting runners. She gave a good account of herself when finishing 4th in the Group 3 Sceptre Fillies’ Stakes here over 7 furlongs. She did not start well last time out at Newmarket and there may be more to come from the filly
2.00
Better And Better gets first time pieces applied today. He does up 1lb for his narrow defeat last time out at Newbury A mark of 80 looks feasible for the William Haggas trained, Sing The Blues who a Novice Stakes race at Goodwood over 6 furlongs last month. She showed good early speed and looks to have improved from her maiden runs earlier in the season. Run Therapy won a nursery handicap on soft ground at Thirsk and there may be more to come from the Dark Angel filly who breaks from stall 1 off bottom weight.
2.35
The Virgin Bet Daily Price Boosts Handicap is the last of our 6 furlong contests. Wathnan Racing colours are prominent at the top of the market with 3 runners here. Rossa Ryan takes the ride of Evening Saigon who won impressively at Chelmsford last month on the all weather, he may need the firmer ground but is certainly one to consider The Haggas trained Realign also comes here on the back of a win and looks back to his best after a 79 day break since being gelded in July Smart Vision should also be a player here, seeming to much prefer the softer heavier grounds and won here on October 25th over 5 furlongs, he may relish the chance now on an extended trip
3.10
The Final Class 1 race here see’s 18 fillies to post over 1m2f The Gosdens double up here with Hot Flame and Danielle Danielle may be the fancy here, aiming to add a second win to her record after only being successful in April 2024 and has seen better finishes on the Heavy & Softer ground. Anna Swan is seeking a first win for new trainer William Haggas but ran well to finish 2nd in September in the soft ground. Elwateen has been beaten on her last 4 starts on turf, only winning on the Kempton all weather track. Bosphorus Rose is an EW chance, having a good record on the turf with 4 wins this year
3.45
Our final race looks set to be an incredibly competitive Handicap Billy Loughnane takes the ride of Hopewell Rock, who already has two wins, two 2nd places and a 3rd to his name under George Boughey and will be looking to continue that fine form. Master Vintner comes here seeking the hat-trick after finding success over 1m2f at the start of September, then again when stepping up to this distance later in the month. Master Builder has seen some early support in the market and might be one to consider should Colin Keane come into this race after a couple of positive rides early on.

Each horse has been given a star rating, these are defined below: HHHHH Selected to win the race.
HHHHI Good chance of being placed.
HHHII By no means out of the reckoning but at least one or two hold stronger claims
HHIII Unlikely to win but not totally without hope.
HIIII Can be given little or no chance.
The BHA Handicappers allot ratings to horses once they have taken part in a sufficient number of races to enable the Handicappers to make a numerical assessment of each horse’s ability.
The principal purpose of the ratings is to determine the weight to be carried by each runner in handicap races, with the Handicappers aiming to provide each participant with an equal chance based on its best recent form under its optimum conditions A horse rated 100, for example, would be set to carry 1lb more than a horse rated 99 (ignoring any penalties or allowances).
The ratings published in the racecard for handicap races are the ratings that were used to calculate the weight to be carried by each horse, whilst in non-handicaps races the rating shown is that of each runner at the time that the entries for the race were confirmed Any subsequently published change to a rating, either up or down, is shown in brackets following the rating.

Lots with chances but there was plenty to like about REALIGN’s victory at Haydock (on the back of a gelding op) and William Haggas’well-bred son of Blue Point can make light of a 7lb rise and confirm himself a sprinter to follow.
The Hamad Al Jehani-trained duo Evening Saigon and Fine Interview both arrive on the back of last-time-out successes also and head the long list of dangers Others to consider in a cracking sprint include Solar Aclaim, SmartVision, Running Queen and Korker
