NOT TOO EARLY FOR M.A. T.C.H. BULK CHRISTMAS “MARKETING APPALACHIA’S WREA TH ORDERS TRADITIONAL COMMUNITY HANDCRAFTS” Experience has shown the Christian Appala CATALOG ORDER IN chian Project that when churches, religious schools or youth groups sell our Christmas THIS ISSUE Wreaths as a project, it is much more success ful. With young Christians commemorating Christ’s Birthday by selling the wreaths as a school or club project, they are providing jobs for the needy and handicapped of Appalachia and making a “ Gift of Love” in so doing. The wreath, symbolic of a simple crown for Christ the King, is handcrafted of natural material by mountain folk - also with much love.
Many CAP supporters are also interested in handcrafted products of the hills. We are pleased to help MATCH promote their new catalog of such items. It seems appropriate to do this along with Christmas Wreaths, since some MATCH products might make ideal presents and their purchase would be helping our people of Appalachia, too.
THANKS TO YOU THE ROAD TO CAMP ANDREW JA CKSON IS OPEN TO MORE AND MORE APPALACHIAN GIRLS AND ROYS
