Collection Service

Non-recyclable waste collected every 3 weeks

Recycling every fortnight We can now collect loads, but make sure it’s clean and dry; plastic bottles, pots, tubs and trays; tins, foil and aerosols, paper and card, Tetra Pak and cartons; plastic bags, plastic film and other soft plastics.

Use your food caddies for all your leftovers including meat, fish and bones, vegetables and peelings, bread, rice and pasta, eggshells, tea bags and coffee grounds. Line your kitchen caddy with a compostable caddy liner, any type of plastic bag, or with newspaper. We can also take away textiles, household batteries and small electrical items (please place in a bag next to your recycling, refuse or garden waste bin).

You can now recycle plastic packaging and wrapping. Visit www.sherbournerecycling co.uk/flex to find out more.

The majority of you shouldn’t have much! This includes any items that can’t yet be recycled: polystyrene, nappies and hygiene products and bagged and tied pet waste.
