On Sunday, April 26 th, 2026, the Wells School of Music at West Chester University of Pennsylvania will host its FIRST ever string quartet competition. This is a collaboration between the Wells School of Music’s Quartet in Residence: Dalí Quartet, and their partner: Pirastro. The prizes for potential winners include one set of Pirastro Strings, Pirastro rosin, and a professional recording opportunity with one of the composition students at the Wells School of Music: Connor Landis. Join us in the Ware Family Recital Hall located in the Swope Music Building to hear these quartets in full.
