LEADER IN ME LEGACY SCHOOLS
WCPS is excited to announce that three additional schools were recognized as FranklinCovey Legacy Schools. Rockfield Elementary, North Warren Elementary and Briarwood Elementary all received the highest honor awarded to Leader in Me schools.
A Legacy School exemplifies a strong leadership culture by unleashing the highest potential in students, staff, and families within the greater school community. These schools serve as global examples of excellence and leadership cultivated over time.
WCPS is now home to 14 Lighthouse Schools and six Legacy Schools the most of any district in the world.

ATHENA LEADERSHIP AWARD

ENERGYRIGHT SCHOOL
WCPS is proud to share that both Warren Central High School and Cumberland Trace Elementary earned the TVA EnergyRight School Uplift grant, earning $10,000 each to support energy efficiency and sustainability improvements!

FUTURE HEALTHCARE LEADERS GAIN HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE
Greenwood High School’s GT science students recently participated in an immersive medical simulation in partnership with the University of Kentucky College of Medicine and Warren County Public Schools GT Services. Guided by coordinator and pre-service doctor Cooper Parks, students analyzed complex patient case studies and applied critical thinking to real-world medical scenarios gaining hands-on insight into the world of healthcare and clinical reasoning.
