RISK
American, b. 1967
Multi-talented fine artist, sculptor, and graffiti pioneer, RISK stands as a towering figure in the history of American graffiti and street art. Born Kelly Graval, he moved to Los Angeles with his family as a teenager and quickly transformed his new high school into a personal canvas, using the city itself as a stage to push the limits of graffiti both in scale and ambition.
A fearless visionary, RISK was one of the first artists to bring graffiti and street art into gallery spaces, helping to transform a once-underground movement into a globally recognized art form. He has been a key member of several influential street art crews, most famously West Coast Artists (WCA) and The Seventh Letter. He is credited as one of the first artists to paint on freight trains and is widely recognized as a pioneer of “hitting up the heavens”—creating works on highly elevated surfaces like billboards, rooftops, and freeway overpasses, raising graffiti to new heights both literally and figuratively.
RISK’s bold style and groundbreaking approach have earned him cultural prominence beyond the streets, with his art featured in music videos by legends such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Michael Jackson. Utilizing 860 gallons of paint and a team of 29 artists and volunteers, RISK achieved a monumental feat by creating the largest mural in Canada, spanning 74,000 square feet on the abandoned St. Joseph’s Hospital in Ontario. His fearless innovation and dedication continue to inspire artists worldwide and solidify his legacy as a foundational force in contemporary street art.

POSE
American, b. 1980
Jordan Nickel, known professionally as POSE, is a Chicago-based artist whose vibrant, layered work fuses graffiti, Pop art, comic books, and street culture. With roots in graffiti from age twelve, POSE brings an energetic and illustrative style to both walls and canvas, using bold lines and high-contrast color to create compositions that feel both chaotic and precise.
His work combines familiar objects and emotional archetypes, collaged into fragmented narratives that explore love, loss, memory, and triumph. Influenced by artists like Roy Lichtenstein, POSE’s work captures the essence of 21st-century hypermodernity, reflecting the visual noise of consumer culture and the tensions of modern identity.
In recent years, POSE has reconnected with his graffiti roots, infusing his studio practice with a renewed sense of authenticity and urgency. A graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute, he has exhibited internationally in Basel, Dubai, London, New York, Detroit, Los Angeles, and Shanghai. His paintings and large-scale murals have been featured at institutions including the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit, Museum of Contemporary Art Denver, Powerlong Museum in Shanghai, and the Chosun Ilbo Museum of Art in Seoul.
He is a longtime member of the acclaimed graffiti collectives Mad Society Kings (MSK) and The Seventh Letter. In 2013, POSE and fellow artist Revok were commissioned to paint the iconic Bowery Wall in New York City—an influential moment that brought large-scale graffiti into a highly visible contemporary art context. In 2015, POSE was recognized by CNN as an artist “One to Watch,” underscoring his role in redefining the relationship between street art and contemporary culture.

IMAGINE
Nepali, b. 1987
Sneha Shrestha, known by her artist name IMAGINE, is a Nepal-born, Boston-based visual artist whose work merges traditional Nepali calligraphy with contemporary graffiti aesthetics. She is best known for her vibrant, large-scale murals and immersive installations that integrate Sanskrit and Nepali script into abstract compositions. Through her art, Sneha explores identity, spirituality, and the intersections of language and place.
Her dynamic murals have transformed walls in cities around the world—including Boston, San Francisco, Kathmandu, Istanbul, Copenhagen, and Geneva. Shrestha’s work was recently acquired by two major institutions: Home416 became the first work by a contemporary Nepali artist to enter the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and her sculpture Dwarpalika was acquired by the Harvard Art Museums, where it will go on long-term view starting in December 2025. She was awarded the prestigious James and Audrey Foster Prize by the Institute of Contemporary Art, Boston, and has exhibited widely, including at the Rubin Museum of Art in New York and the Cantor Art Gallery at the College of the Holy Cross.
Shrestha earned her Master's degree from Harvard University’s Graduate School of Education and is committed to arts accessibility and youth education. She founded Nepal’s first Children’s Art Museum and currently manages arts programs at Harvard’s South Asia Institute. Her work is featured in the collections of Facebook, Google, Fidelity Investments, and private collectors internationally.
Sneha continues to create spaces for reflection and mindfulness through her “mindful mantras”—a visual language that honors heritage while pushing the boundaries of street art and abstraction.
