At Waynesburg University, we believe that entrepreneurial leadership is both a study and a practice. To foster this type of learning, opportunities to engage, innovate, create and serve exist both inside and outside of the classroom, across all areas of study. IN CLASS: The Entrepreneurial Leadership Program focuses on the study and practice of entrepreneurship in an academic setting through a major in the Department of Business Administration and a cross-campus minor. BEYOND CLASS: The eHIVE is a co-curricular innovative hub focused on the practice of entrepreneurial leadership in a variety of ways, including individual coaching, workshops, competitions and speakers. The eHIVE’s services are available to all students of any major at any time. The Nest is the University’s official apparel spirit store as well as a student learning lab, and is operated and managed by students, providing experiential learning opportunities. 4
GROWTH OVER TIME 1 All freshmen are exposed to the entrepreneurial mindset in the first semester of their first year through our first year seminar, Fiat Lux.
2 Beyond freshman year, students experience project-based and experiential learning opportunities. They develop key problemsolving skills through cross-disciplinary curricular and co-curricular opportunities.

GROW TOGETHER Tuesday afternoons are set aside for Chapel, during which students, faculty and staff are encouraged to gather for worship and prayer. In addition, student-led worship during Upper Room every Sunday evening at 8 p.m. creates an intentional time for students to reflect on Christ within an encouraging community of fellow students. 11
GROW YOUR INNER HERO Our Nursing Program adheres to high academic standards and has a long history of incredible program outcomes. Students start clinical practice as early as their sophomore year and practice complex patient care in simulated situations to learn and apply cognitive, psychomotor and decision-making skills. Within the Nursing Clinical Learning Center, students have access to eight simulation patient rooms in the Nursing Simulation Lab; a new, groundbreaking AI-powered manikin and 10 other simulation manikins, including two 3G manikins and a RealMom birthing simulator; and a new AI- and VR-powered Immersion Room, the first immersion lab of its kind in the nation. Through the use of these high-fidelity simulators, future nurses are prepared for realworld scenarios in a range of healthcare fields and industry positions. 12

GROW YOUR INNER EINSTEIN Students in the Department of Chemical, Computational and Forensic Sciences have the opportunity to utilize state-of-the-art equipment found in top industrial research labs. Waynesburg’s facilities go beyond the scope of a traditional teaching lab, with new instrumentation where students learn operation procedures, troubleshooting, method development and interpretation of results. Students will gain practical instrumental/methodological experience using professional equipment such as the comparison microscope, stereo microscope, latent print and impression evidence development tools, blood stain pattern analysis kits and alternative light sources. 16

THE ALSTON FARM AT WAYNESBURG UNIVERSITY Waynesburg University was gifted Alston Farm, a primarily forested property located just minutes from campus. The property, which includes a well-preserved historic house, log cabin, barn, renovated classroom and greenhouse on 52 acres, offers the foundation for an Ecology Center that can serve as a hub for faithinformed environmental leadership and experiential learning. WU VISIT GRANT The WU Visit Grant is a four-year renewable grant of $1,000 per academic year ($4,000 total), and is awarded to fulltime, undergraduate students that file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) annually.
