STUDENT LIFE
Students at Waynesburg are never at a loss for activities to keep them busy and entertained in their down time.
After all, the university experience is much more than class lectures and late nights in the lab. Whether you’re looking for a fun weekend out of town or leadership roles that stand out on a resume, an array of student groups are available for you to join.
When you are actively engaged with one of these organizations, it serves to enhance your total educational experience by exposing an integral part of the campus community to you, which allows you to explore your interests and pursue your passions while making new friends and building your resume.
RESIDENCE LIFE
As a primarily residential campus, Waynesburg University provides a diverse range of living options designed to enhance your college experience. In our traditional residence halls, you'll be surrounded by fellow students, creating the perfect setting for late-night study sessions and well-earned study breaks. For those seeking more independence, our suite-style residence halls offer spacious living areas and private bathrooms, blending comfort with a greater sense of autonomy.
STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS
Students are encouraged to get involved in a variety of clubs and organizations. Student organizations exist as an extension of the particular interests of the students. Any student interested in forming a new organization should contact Student Development.
STUDENT ACTIVITIES
Student Activities Board (SAB) plans numerous events each week, from simple but fun activities on campus to all-day road trips. In addition to SAB events, there are a variety of other activities, such as service projects and lecture series.
CAMPUS RECREATION
In February of 2010, Waynesburg University opened the doors on its two-story fitness center, which is located adjacent to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse. It features an upper level completely dedicated to cardiovascular fitness, a lower level with both free weights and resistance equipment, new men's and women's locker rooms. Additionally, the Fitness Center has several flat screen televisions and refillable water stations located on both levels. The center is free to use for students, faculty and staff.

Our dedicated staff welcomes and works with students who are seeking support for personal, academic and career growth. During their time at WU, students have access to our caring, skillful, free and confidential counseling services.

PATHWAYS CENTER
The Pathways Center is an initiative to provide comprehensive student support services including Tutoring, Mentoring, Disability Services, Student Success Services, Career Development, Vocational Exploration, Student Referrals (MUM), Student Work Study, Library Services, the Writing Center, the Act 101 Educational Enrichment Program, and more.
The Pathways Center is located in Eberly Library with collaborative referrals to and work with the Counseling Center, Student Development, Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership, Alumni Relations, Athletics, academic programs and others.
CAREER CLOSET
Waynesburg University's Career Closet is located in the Pathways Center, on the bottom floor of Eberly Library (room B20). Through this resource, students have access to free professional clothing throughout the academic year.
STING’S PANTRY
Sting’s Pantry, located on the 3 floor of the Stover Campus Center, is a place for students who are hungry or need a little pick-me-up to come and grab something to eat to help them get through the day. We ask students to take what they need but to remember others are in need as well. The Pantry is funded by grants and donations.
