Important Reminder to All Students
Medical Forms are PAST DUE! If you have not submitted your medical forms, insurance card or your information is incomplete, you will be hearing from our Health Services nurse soon. If you need to submit the forms, they are needed as soon as possible.
Medical Forms (Print, take to your doctor, and mail to Student Development ASAP)
Athletes - Athletic Training Medical Form- this form, in addition to the required Medical Forms listed above, is required for all new student athletes (Follow the electronic portal directions)
Resident Students - Your new student housing form will be available in THD (The Housing Director) under the Apps and Contracts Tab.
Commuting Students - Your student contract and food service contract (if you signed up for a meal plan) will be available in the THD (The Housing Director) under the Apps and Contracts Tab.
New Student Check-In
All new students will be checking into campus on Thursday, August 20, beginning at 8:00 am11:00 a.m. Commuting students will check in from 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m. Upon arrival on campus, all students must complete the check-in process starting in the Stover Campus Center.
Resident Students:
After you have completed the check-in process, you will proceed to your residence hall for move-in. Once at your residence hall, there will be assistance to help unload your vehicle. Once unloaded, you will be directed where to park.
Commuter Students:
Once checked in proceed to the commuter lounge located on the 2 flood of stover for a commuet student meeting at 1:00 p.m.
New Jacket Orientation
The New Jacket Orientation (NJO) for new students begins upon your arrival on Thursday, August 20 ALL new students (Residents & Commuters) are required to participate in NJO activities throughout the weekend. You recently received an email that had the NJO schedule link. Please review the schedule so you will be familiar with our plans for you the weekend prior to the beginning of classes.

Upon arrival, please visit the 3rd floor of the Stover Campus Center to check in.
Please carefully review the arrival dates and times for all new students. In addition, there is a new section on the website "New Student Resources." Please take the time to look at this important information pertaining to arrival, move-in day and the New Jacket Orientation schedule.
Fall student athletes or those involved in campus programs will be arriving on campus earlier than other new students. Those scheduled to arrive early will receive information from the coach or program director. All new students, even those who arrive on campus early, are required to attend New Jacket Orientation August 20- 23 and participate in all New Jacket Orientation activities throughout the weekend.
Incoming freshmen and their families are invited to join us via Microsoft Teams on Wednesdays at 6 pm for informational sessions with staff members across campus on topics related to next steps, orientation and more. Attend one session or attend them all. The scheduled topics and dates are listed in the schedule below.

Shuttle Transportation for Arriving Students
Students who plan to travel to and from campus via plane or bus can utilize the Grey Line, which provides transportation from the Pittsburgh International Airport and the Greyhound Bus Station (1 block from the train station) in Pittsburgh year round
As an added convenience, WU supplements the Grey Line schedule with several studentoperated shuttles during peak days based on our academic calendar. Reservations for a WU shuttle need to be made five business days in advance to allow for the scheduling of student drivers. Campus shuttles only run with reservations in advance. Mandatory Title IX Training
Waynesburg University is working with United Educators to provide all faculty, staff, students, investigators, hearing officers, and informal resolution facilitators with an annual training program, on Title IX Regulations. Among other things, the program will outline the conduct that constitutes sex discrimination under Title IX. We will be sending a follow-up notice with dates/times for the training at the start of the semester and look forward to your participation.

Waynesburg University’s student communication tool- an Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) texting chatbot focused on student success! Sting’s mission is to involve students in the conversation, answering questions and helping to address any challenges they may face as a college student, on-demand 24/7
Sting serves as a resource for student questions and connects them to support services such as: academics, financial matters, student engagement, and overall, wellbeing.

All resident students are assigned a mailbox on campus. Your mailbox number was provided (or will be provided) with your housing assignment When sharing your address with family and friends, or when placing an online order, please use the following address as a sample:

If you are expecting a package, please check your mailbox first If it is small enough that it fits there, we will not notify you of its arrival. Waynesburg University mailroom does not accept deliveries from any delivery service other than the United States Postal Service (USPS), UPS, FedEX or DHL. Please do not place orders to be delivered from local delivery services
Fitness Center
Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday 6 a.m. - 10 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m.- 5 p.m.
To avoid the line during checkin on August 20, you can register NOW for your key, by using this QR code
Effective August 24. The Fitness Center will be closed on all recognized holidays and university breaks (fall, winter, spring, etc.) and all days that campus is closed.
