We wanted to take a moment to share more about a new ministry at Wayne Presbyterian Church Young Adult Ministry
In recent years, we’ve seen an encouraging influx of young adults (ages 20–40) joining our church community. We are truly grateful for the ways they are already contributing to the life of Wayne. At the same time, we recognized an opportunity to support and engage this group in a season of life that is often both formative and challenging more intentionally
Our hope in launching this ministry is to foster deeper connection, spiritual growth, and a sense of belonging among young adults who may otherwise feel overlooked in a traditional church structure. This stage of life often includes significant transitions beginning careers, navigating relationships and marriage, raising young children, and establishing rhythms of faith amid full and often demanding lives. We want to come alongside individuals and couples in these seasons, offering community, encouragement, and opportunities to grow in their faith together.
As we begin this new chapter, we are taking a small-group-centered approach, with the goal of creating spaces where meaningful relationships can develop. Our first group is focused on young couples, with or without children. We chose to begin here because this life stage is one where many are actively seeking connection and shared experience, and where building strong community can have a lasting impact on both families and the broader church
