Thursday, April 2, 2026 2026 Maundy Thursday

+ Please stand as you are able.

Prelude | John Grecia, organ Love Unknown (My Song is Love Unknown) Karl Osterland (b. 1956)

Words of Welcome

+ Call to Worship

Come, people of God, let us offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, andlift up his name in the presence of his people. For God is gracious and merciful, full of compassion and love. While we were still helpless, he came to save us. We will worship God together.

+ Hymn 727: THE SERVANT SONG Will You Let Me Be Your Servant

Call to Confession

+ Prayer of Confession

Lord Jesus Christ, how well you know our hearts and you still love us - you have loved us to the end. We have denied you, and we have denied our calling to serve one another. We have betrayed you, and we have betrayed your commandment to love one another. Pour out your Spirit of grace upon us. Teach us to love and serve you faithfully and to love and serve one another by the example you have set for us; in your holy name we pray. Amen.

+ Assurance of Pardon

Now the Lord Jesus Christ has been glorified, and God has been glorified in him. Now the promise is fulfilled, and love’s redeeming work is done. In Jesus Christ we are forgiven. Thanks be to God!
