Join us on an adventure…

…from the UK to Uganda. Whether you have a heart to serve or are keen to simply see it firsthand, one of our upcoming trips will see your heart come alive with God’s love for the widow and orphan. Many travel to Watoto hoping to make a difference, and this they often do, what surprises them though is how changed they are on coming home. Come ready, come expectant, leave changed forever.
We look forward to welcoming you.

FAQs

Can I travel on a trip by myself?
Yes, we also organise individual trips but often find that people have the most fun when travelling as part of a team. Is it safe to visit Uganda?
We always follow the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) advice when travelling to Uganda and only take teams to areas that are considered safe by the UK government.
Do I need a visa?
UK citizens do need a visa, which costs $50USD and we’ll help you throughout this quick and online process. For citizens of other nations, we recommend contacting the Ugandan High Commission in London to confirm your needs.
What’s the language in Uganda?
In almost every situation, you will be able to communicate in English with all those you meet. Run into any problems? Our local Watoto Host will be with you throughout the trip to help with any needs.
Do I need vaccinations and malaria tablets?
Yes! Most people need a yellow fever certificate to gain entry. We also recommend visiting the NHS website or your local travel clinic for up to date travel vaccination and malaria medication advice.
Where will we stay?
Our trips use a number of trusted guest houses and hotels across the nation that we accommodate our hundreds of guests in each year. You will find them to be comfortable, reasonably priced and with helpful staff.
