Waterford Public Schools Increasing Educator Diversity Plan Vision:

Advocate for and build a district that promotes diversity, equity and inclusion by creating and maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment for all stakeholders. (Waterford Board of Education 2023/2024)

Theory of Action

IF Waterford Public Schools attracts a diverse applicant pool, hires and retains a diverse workforce; THEN Waterford’s staff will be a better reflection of the World; allowing our staff and students to feel represented and included in our School Community; there will be a positive impact on our students’ academic and personal growth; A better foundation for inclusion and a respect for diversity in all its forms will develop throughout Waterford’s School Community.
