We would like to send out a heart felt thank you to the Great Neck PTA, with a special shout out to Andrea Delmore and LeeAnn Page, for going above and beyond for staff appreciation week. From all the sweet treats and fun activities and goodies, the staff here certainly felt the love and thank you for all the time and energy that went into the planning, preparation and execution of the weeks’ events. Great Neck would also like to thank Christine Donovan and all of our parent volunteers for running another successful Scholastic book fair! We appreciate you!

Tuesday, May 19, 4:30PM - 6:00PM Potion Making with Little Small & Co Magic is all around us and now, you will have the chance to brew a magic potion of your very own. Hosted by local artist, Samantha from Little Small & Co. kids will choose their color, their magical wish and decorate their own potion bottle to take home. Recommended for ages 6 to 12, registration is required.

Sensory Saturday
Drop into the library meeting room anytime between 1:00 and 3:00 pm for Sensory Saturday! This program creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for neurodivergent youth and their families to hang out and move through some different interactive stations led by Building Bridges Through Play. All ages are welcome, no registration required. Thank you to the Kelsey S. Harrington Foundation and the Charter Oak Federal Credit Union for funding this event.

Snowflake Days
This calendar includes three designated makeup days to be used for snow days/school cancellations, as needed. If no cancellations occur, schools will be closed on February 17, March 8, and May 28.
